This website does not require registration, does not collect personal information, and does not use login systems. All calculations run locally in your browser.

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to pipespacingcalculator.com, a free engineering tool designed to help piping engineers and designers calculate minimum center-to-center spacing for parallel pipelines. The site is operated as an independent project.

If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at: [loading contact...]

2. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

  • Names, email addresses, or any personal identifiers
  • Account credentials (there is no registration system)
  • Calculator inputs or results — all calculations happen entirely in your browser
  • Uploaded or downloaded files (DXF, PDF, JSON files are generated and saved locally on your device)

3. Analytics – GoatCounter

We use GoatCounter to collect basic, anonymous traffic statistics. GoatCounter is a privacy-friendly analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.

The information collected is limited to:

  • Page views and referral sources
  • Approximate country (derived from IP address, which is not stored)
  • Browser type and screen size (aggregated, not tied to individuals)

GoatCounter does not build individual user profiles and is compliant with GDPR and similar regulations. You can learn more at goatcounter.com/help/privacy.

4. Google Search Console

This website is registered with Google Search Console, a webmaster tool provided by Google. Search Console allows us to monitor how the site appears in Google Search results and to submit a sitemap. It does not collect personal data about visitors.

For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising & Cookies

This website does not currently display advertisements. We intend to use Google AdSense in the future to help cover hosting costs. When ads are active, this section will be updated to reflect that.

When Google AdSense is enabled, it will operate as follows:

  • Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's advertising cookies enable it to serve personalized ads based on browsing history across sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ad Settings.
  • You can also opt out via the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

At present, no advertising cookies are set by this website.

6. Third-Party Links

The Help page and this policy contain links to external websites (such as Google Ad Settings, GoatCounter, and industry reference pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites and encourage you to review their policies.

7. Your Rights

Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you are located in the EU, UK, or another jurisdiction with privacy regulations and have concerns, please contact us and we will respond promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly when advertising is introduced. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
